Zakk Wylde may be metal’s favorite mix between a scary biker and The Mountain from Game of Thrones, but in the end, he’s all heart. Zakk even spoke to us about how big an Adele fan he is, stating she’s “beyond mind-blowingly talented.”

You may remember a hilarious Vine video where Zakk got punched in the face while singing Adele’s “Hello.”  Zakk knew the first few lines to “Hello” a little too well, didn’t he? Well, turns out he’s one of roughly seven billion people who think Adele is the cat’s pajamas.

“When you have somebody like Adele who comes along that is just living proof that pure, god-given talent… like Freddie Mercury said, ‘Talent will always out.’ It always will,” Zakk says in the video interview at the top of this page. “It’s just undeniably good.”

Zakk goes on to compare Adele’s success to that of Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses and Nirvana when it comes to undeniable impact and timelessness. Zakk’s praise of Adele is absolutely beaming, so be sure to check it out for yourself in the clip above!
