Young Guns have seen their star rise in recent years and the band is ready to offer their next studio album, Echoes, on Sept. 16. As the release date approaches, the group has teamed up with Loudwire to exclusively premiere the title track from the new album.

As you can hear, singer Gustav Wood stirs the emotions with a delivery that powers the song in some parts, while digging into more melodic territory at other parts. And it all plays out against the catchy yet immediate sounding musical backdrop of the song.

Wood tells us, "‘Echoes' was one of the earlier songs to be written for the new album. It feels like an exciting mix of a sound that looks back to when we first started the band, and our newer material and just has a groove and atmosphere that we really enjoyed creating. It captures the feel and sentiment behind the whole album, reflecting on how tempting it can be to revisit memories of times gone by in a bid to keep that part of your life alive, but facing up to the fact that eventually you have to let things go and move on.”

"Echoes" follows on the heels of the songs "Bulletproof" and "Mad World" off of the forthcoming Echoes album. The band entered the studio in early 2016 to begin working on the disc with acclaimed producer David Bendeth. The album is currently available to pre-order in a variety of options at this location ahead of the Sept. 16 street date.

And be sure to keep an eye out for Young Guns on tour, especially if you're in the U.S., the U.K. and Europe. The band hits the road Sept. 2 in Bedford, U.K., travels to the U.S. in mid-September, then ventures back across the pond for more U.K. and European dates in mid-October and November.
