Loudwire's 'You Think You Know Metal?' series continues with an in-depth look at heavy metal's beloved Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne.

You may have seen our Black Sabbath episode of 'You Think You Know Metal?,' in which Ozzy is prominently featured, but this new clip is all about the metal legend himself. First off, did you know that Ozzy gave himself his famous "OZZY" knuckle tattoo? While spending a short time in jail for petty theft, Ozzy grabbed a piece of graphite to "ink" himself, but the knuckle work isn't the only piece Ozzy gave himself while behind bars.

Ever hear of doom band Necromandus? Ozzy almost formed a solo band with some of its members while contemplating his first leave from Black Sabbath. Many years later, Osbourne teamed up with Steve Vai for a potential project, but the only scrap of recorded material between the two made its way onto one of Ozzy's lesser-known solo albums.

At the end of Ozzy's solo opus "Crazy Train," some maniacal laughter is featured while an audio oscillator ramps up the pitch. However, do you know the breakfast-related story of the sound that immediately follows the laugh? You'll find out all about it in this clip!

When master shredder Zakk Wylde joined Ozzy's solo band, the guitarist revitalized Osbourne and his legendary project. One man deserves some credit for bringing Wylde into the fold -- Howard Stern. That's right, the radio legend spoke about Ozzy looking for a new guitarist live on The Howard Stern Show, which Wylde listened to religiously. And the rest, as they say, is history.
