World of Warcraft Video: Conquering the Proving Grounds

One frost mage proved that they were truly cool by making it to Wave 138 in World of Warcraft's Proving Grounds.

According to Kotaku, a frost mage named Akuyama set a world record by surviving until Wave 138 in the Proving Grounds, which is a scenario in the game that helps train players for their roles in raids. This is essentially a long tutorial that gets harder with each wave you defeat.

In the video above, we can see the last 10 waves in Akuyama's epic exercise in endurance. Watch as spells are fired off in quick succession with the help of a Water Elemental pet. Ladies and gentlemen, this is how you rock it as a mage.

We can only imagine what kind of crazy shenanigans Akuyama will get up to once the Warlords of Draenor expansion is released and mages get more toys to use.
