Woody Guthrie's most famous song was This Land Is Your Land and he inspired every single folk/protest singer of the 60s .

I happened across a news item from earlier this year, in January. It's all about how Woody Guthrie, the great songwriter, lived in an apartment building owned by Fred Trump, father of Donald Trump. Guthrie hated Trump. He hated him so much he wrote down lyrics about what an asshat Fred Trump was.

The lyrics were found stored in the Woody Guthrie archives in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Woody never recorded the song. They were just some lyrics without any chords so we don't know what it might have sounded like.

Most Woody Guthrie songs were pretty simple, though, using mostly C, D and G chords. So...maybe it was meant to sound something like...this?
