The third and, as far as anyone’s saying, final installment in Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine movies is coming out a mere six months form now, but so far everything about it has remained a mystery. We know that Jackman is in it, but we don’t know a whole lot more than that, aside from a possible R rating. We’re bound to get more news soon, but for now Jackman himself is the only one giving us any clues as to what his next movie will be like.

In an interview with ET Online, Jackman spoke to how the next Wolverine will have a different feel from the other installments. He said director Jim Mangold is “editing away,” and will probably have something to show us very soon.

There's going to be some stuff coming out in the next week or so. That's all I'll say. I'm not good. I’m the kind of person who tells everybody everything. Basically it's going to be different. Very different in tone and hopefully to anything we've done.

While X-Men Origins: Wolverine was not so great, the follow-up, The Wolverine, fared a little better with fans and critics alike. It’s very possible that by the time the newest Wolverine rolls out, we’ll finally have a good Wolverine movie to add to the X-Men franchise. This will also be Jackman’s last outing as the character, so here’s hoping that Jackman’s Wolverine goes out with a bang.

The final Wolverine film opens early next year, on March 3, 2017.
