We finally have a release window for CD Projekt Red's upcoming role-playing game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Unfortunately, it's a little bit later than we'd hoped.

The Board of CD Projekt SA posted an open letter on the official website for The Witcher, discussing the release date for the game. In the open letter, the Board goes over what the original aim was when it was decided that The Witcher 3 would be CD Projekt Red's next game, as well as what the studio wanted to do "to expand creative boundaries, set new benchmarks, develop the genre as a whole."

It turns out that CD Projekt Red has been very ambitious about this title and wants to take care not to stumble at the finish line. So with that said, the release date for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been set for February 2015. While the wait has grown considerably, it's in the interest of crafting a quality product that will have been worth the delay.
