Our government can be quite idiotic.  Republicans want to do everything possible to trash the Affordable Care Act, but have no solid plan on what to do if they succeed.  Millions have been spent to fight the plan and untold hours have been spent trying to fight it.  My question is simple, why fight it, why not just make it better?

Why can't it be enough for Republicans to say they "fixed" healthcare? Why do they have to trash the current system and start from scratch?  I have heard both great stories of people helped by the A.C.A. and heard stories of people hurt by it.  It seems just getting rid of it is throwing the baby out with the bathwater.  Like any project there's going to be deviance's from the plan and unexpected things popping up. What is the problem with learning from both the plans successes and failures?

Some of the conservatives out there can't wait to spit out the words "socialized healthcare" like it's a bad thing.  Fire, police, highways, education and quite a few more things are "socialized".  Do you want to have to shop around for the best Fire Department?  Okay then, let's admit that in some instances "socializing" and industry or service is not only a good idea, it's also necessary.

If we look for solutions we can work to lower rates and increase choices. If we look to abandon the plan then millions will lose their healthcare with no solution in site.
