I guess people have an issue with avoidance. They just don't want to deal with the fact that they are part of the problem. These days instead of admitting their attracted to scandalous information, they just blame "the media."

It seems that whenever something goes down, social media and critics start blaming "the media" for reporting the story.

So who is "the media"? Are you talking all news sources, even the less-than-credible ones? Are you talking the blog-o-sphere? Are you talking your other friends on social media?

I guess it doesn't matter which one, because they're not serving up anything that you aren't eating. You ordered it, waited for it and you eat it up. It's not "the media's" fault that things happen or that these are the types of things you click and comment on. It's your fault for participating in it. Personally, if it were not for "the media," many injustices would go uncorrected.

Let's look at one other thing. Let's say you've had five wives. Around the time where you're moving onto wife no. six, you kind of need to say to yourself maybe it's you and not those women who are the problem.

The media seems to clearly be telling us (i.e. reporting) that we have a problem with police and race. There are now so many instances maybe you should consider the fact that it's not just "the media" and that we have an actual problem. Seriously, how many examples do you need?

Blaming "the media" is the trendy thing to do. It also keeps you from thinking about, dealing with or recognizing the real problems. It's a lazy excuse, and that's all it is.
