Politics, sports, waiting at the doctor’s office, technology, having your order screwed up at the drive-thru. Whatever the case, we all have things that frustrate us on a regular – if not daily – basis. Some people, like former tennis star John McEnroe and former basketball coach Bobby Knight, have made themselves famous as much for venting their frustrations as they have for their respective talents.

Unlike Bobby (seen in this photo letting out frustration on someone who is not a close friend), I think on of the best ways to vent frustrations is to tell a buddy. Just go tell a third party and complain away. Get it off your chest, and feel your frustration melt away. So, in an effort to help calm folks around the office, I asked a few of my coworkers what frustrates them. Here are some examples:

Chaz says Abilene drivers frustrate him. He reminded me several times how much drivers in Abilene frustrate him, and Chaz has a lot of company.

Frank gets frustrated when people use improper grammar, specifically with the incorrect use of the words “your” and “you’re”, and “there”, “their” and “they’re”. I can’t disagree with him.

Shay is frustrated to no end when people don’t listen…at least, I think so. I wasn’t really paying much attention to her.

I get frustrated when my son turns his brain off. When he does this, he completely loses the ability to listen, respond, complete homework, do chores, or even keep his shoes tied.

What about you? Share what it is that frustrates you the most. It may make you feel better!
