We're talking on the show about celebs people think are hot that we just don't get, and everyone seems to agree on this one.

Back in the 1990s, Cameron Diaz was one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood. Not just snagging a bunch of movie roles, but she was a drool-worthy hottie everyone loved. Then something happened. After researching for awhile, I realized that Cameron Diaz in "The Mask," was the pinnacle of Diaz's hotness. She was the movie's stunning femme fatale, but had large, doe-eyes and apple cheeks that gave her a bit of innocence.  Men became obsessed with her, and women wanted to look just like the blonde beauty.

But after, things started to change. I tried to find the exact moment it started going downhill for her and found around the time her face looked different. For me, I think it was after 1998's "There's Something About Mary." Diaz seems to have lost weight for this film, making her face thinner and losing some of the fullness from her cheeks.

In her 2000 smash hit "Charlie's Angels," it was even more noticeable how much weight she lost. And it seems this was the moment her body and mind would change forever. In her 2013 book, The Body Book, she talked about her lifestyle when she started the movie. Diaz said she just quit smoking, didn't eat well and really didn't work out. Then when she ended up in the movie, she had to learn how to be a martial arts master and met her trainer:

"It was autumn, and Drew Barrymore and I arrived to train for our roles on set. Cheung-yan Yuen, who was our martial arts master, was there, along with all of our trainers. We were so excited. Woo hoo! We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Cheung-yan Yuen began to speak, and the interpreter translated his words for us. ‘Today,’ he said, ‘I’m going to introduce you to your new best friend. You’re going to learn to love your new best friend. You’re going to have him with you all of the time. You’re going to cherish him. And he’s going to be a part of your life.’ We were so excited. We looked at each other, as if to say, who could it be? And Cheung-yan Yuen said, ‘Your new best friend is pain.’

From then the actress worked out, changed her diet and lost significant weight. Her ribs were visible on her chest in photo stills released from the movie.

Also, the way she was coloring her eyebrows really washed her out, giving her more masculine features in my opinion.

Since then she has become a self-proclaimed "gym rat" and spends her entire Sunday prepping her food for the coming week. Cameron Diaz has also had problems with her nose, breaking it four times in her life. In 2006 when she broke it the fourth time, she finally had to get surgery to fix the breathing issues years of breaking her nose caused her. Her thinner nose may also have something to do with her facial changes as well. Putting all of these variables together you can see how she has stayed so thing and muscular over the years. And now, I think I actually admire her. She says discipline is the biggest thing in her life to make sure that she keeps her toned figure and feeds her body healthy things. Maybe we should all be like Cameron and actually be our best self.
