Weezer celebrated their brand new self-titled release, also known as ‘The White Album,’ at Rough Trade in Brooklyn, where they performed a handful of acoustic songs in the intimate venue and then held a swift signing of the new release with fans at the record store/music venue.

There were no hits like “Buddy Holly” or “Say It Ain’t So” in the setlist. Instead it was all about the new music as the Los Angeles rockers performed fresh tunes “California Kids,”  “L.A. Girlz” and “Do You Wanna Get High?” Weezer also performed an old school song for fans, “Slave,” which they haven’t performed in well over a decade. The five-song set ended with another new track, “King of the World.”

About 20 minutes after the set, the band signed copies of their new album and met hundreds of adoring fans. In promotion of the 'The White Album,' the band will be touring this summer; go here for a full list of tour dates. With 10 studio albums under their belt and well over two decades of music, Weezer aren’t going anywhere and wherever they do go, their loyal fans are right there with them.
