As the evening set in on Night 1 of the 2015 Loudwire Music Festival, Weezer arrived to an enthusiastic crowd. "Grand Junction, Colorado -- I don't think we've ever been here before, have we Brian?" asked singer Rivers Cuomo to his guitarist a couple of songs into the set. "I'm digging it," he added enthusiastically. With Weezer taking the stage, the party was on.

Rocking through such hits as "Hash Pipe," "Island in the Sun," "My Name Is Jonas," and deeper favorites "El Scorcho" "Surf Wax America" early on, they set the tone for the night. Things really kicked in later on with "Beverly Hills" and "Say It Ain't So," before ending the set on a high note with such classics as "The Sweater Song" and the finale "Buddy Holly," which featured the entire band playing the drums at the end. Check back tomorrow as we'll continue with coverage of Day 2 of the Loudwire Music Festival.
