Watch Weezer While you Wakeboard. The Weezer Cruise 2011 Is Getting Set [VIDEO]

Weezer has announced the "Weezer Cruise," which will set sail from Miami to the island of Cozumel off the coast of Mexico on January 19th, 2012, returning to Florida on the 23rd. They're calling it a "music festival at sea" of sorts. The event will feature 15 bands selected by Weezer performing on the Carnival Destiny luxury liner for its 2,500 passengers day and night. Weezer itself will perform on the pool deck as the ship pulls out and then again in the indoor main theater.
Other acts slated to perform on the ship's four stages include Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh and those are the only other names I recognize so far, but the booking isn't done yet. At least I hope it isn't. Prices for the trip begin at $799 per person for double cabins or four people can sail together for just $599 per person. Pre-sale bookings begin on July 21st while general public sales start on August 3rd. Here's Weezer to explain.
