I'm not what you call a professional golf fan, but I am a huge 'Happy Gilmore' fan. Put those two together and, in the words of Yoda, "watch this funny video, you must!".

OK, so Yoda didn't say that, but you get the point.

Anyway, at the 2013 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open on the European Tour, several pro golfers, including Phil Mickelson, decided to try their hand at swinging like 'Happy Gilmore'.

For those of you not familiar with that movie, it's basically about a hockey player, played by Adam Sandler, who comes up with a swing to drive the ball 400 plus yards.

The professional golfers decided to take a swing at it, and the results are pretty funny. What's impressive, is that one of the golfers, Paddy Harrington, actually drove the ball 328 yards.

Hey, maybe there really is something to this 'Happy Gilmore' swing?
