Watch a Day With Dreamcar in ‘Kill for Candy’ Video

While Dreamcar would "Kill for Candy," most fans would kill for a video for the supergroup's new single. Thankfully, those wishes have been granted as Dreamcar have unleashed their first video as a band and you can watch the clip for "Kill for Candy" above.

In it, the mustachioed Davey Havok is both the focus and the point of view for a lot of the action. A good portion of the clip is shot from his point of view as he gets ready for the video shoot in a mirror, drives to the venue, meets up with his bandmates and shares hugs with certain people involved in the shoot and post-video dinner. Other times, director Frank Borin has Havok and his bandmates performing for other cameras. Borin utilized an innovative wearable camera for the shoot, giving the viewers a "day in the life" view for Dreamcar.

The band features the AFI singer playing alongside No Doubt's instrumental core of Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal and Adrian Young and the response so far has been mostly positive to the "Kill for Candy" single. The track is currently available via a variety of platforms here.

Dreamcar recently revealed their first batch of tour dates taking place on the West Coast and all nine shows have sold out. But there are more dates to come, and the group just revealed a handful of more shows in May for the rest of the country. Get ticketing information here.

In other Dreamcar news, the band has announced that they will perform on The Late Late Show With James Corden on May 11, coinciding with the release of their self-titled debut disc a day later (May 12). That will be their second late night appearance after their April 18 performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
