While many rockers are weighing in with their recollections and memories of Dimebag Darrell, there was no one closer to the guitar great than his brother -- Vinnie Paul. The drummer was Dime's bandmate in Pantera and Damageplan and on the 10th anniversary of Dimebag's death, he offered Loudwire his thoughts on his sibling.

"The most important thing is to say, he gave everything he had," says Vinnie. "Every performance, whether it was playing live onstage or just shaking hands with people."

The drummer says that relationship with fans and peers was something that was important to Dimebag. "He made people feel special. It never was a job to him, it’s just him. That’s how he was."

Vinnie concludes, "The music will live on forever. I think his legacy is pretty well known throughout the metal world and even the regular music world."
