With all this talk about it being National Metal Day today (11/11/11), let us not forget that the most important holiday of the day is Veterans Day. And it just so happens that several rockers share that same sentiment. Many of the rock acts that we cover on Loudwire have performed for our troops overseas on numerous occasions and have worked with charities to help out our nation's veterans. Today, acts such as Papa Roach, Nikki Sixx, Rev Theory, Anthrax, Nonpoint and others have paid respect to our nation's troops via posts on Twitter. Guns N' Roses also paid their respects with a link to a video of guitarist DJ Ashba performing the national anthem. Read what rock acts had to say about Veterans Day in the tweets below:
