United Supermarkets announced Monday (April 6) that they will pull all Blue Bell ice cream products after the creamery voluntarily suspended operations at the Broken Bow, Oklahoma, plant following a Listeria outbreak.

United’s statement read in part:

Out of an abundance of caution, The United Family of stores immediately removed Blue Bell ice cream products from shelves at all store banners, including United Supermarkets, Market Street, Albertsons Market, Amigos and United Express. Based on the CDC recommendation, United is evaluating the origin of Blue Bell ice cream products in our inventory, and products received from facilities other the Broken Arrow plant may be restocked and available for purchase.”
