Did they or didn't they? That's the question being asked after Tommy Lee posted a picture of he and fiancée Brittany Furlan kissing in front of what looks to be a wedding altar Sunday night (May 27). Unfortunately for those looking to see another chapter unfold in this storybook romance, the two appear to have been having some fun at the expense of the media.

"Just our little way of showing you all, you can’t believe everything you read in the press!" the former Motley Crue drummer tweeted yesterday (May 28), along with images of headlines from news outlets around the world announcing the wedding that Furlan had posted. "BEST.PRACTICAL.JOKE.EVER," said Furlan in a tweet with multiple emojis of smiley faces cry-laughing followed by, "We win."

International media picked up on the photos which were posted to both Lee and Furlan's official Instagram pages Sunday which depicted the couple, who have been engaged since Valentine's Day, kissing in front of an outdoor wedding altar while wearing white terrycloth robes. Though no one appeared to be in attendance other than the two lovebirds, there was more than a hint it was the real thing - from Lee at least.

“Did it, I do A LOT,” he captioned the Instagram photo, which can be viewed below, seemingly confirming the two had tied the knot. Furlan, however, was a bit more forthcoming in her own caption, writing, "BEST. DAY. EVER. to take a photo in front of someone’s leftover wedding alter [sic]."

When the wedding does go down officially, it will be the fourth time the 55-year-old Lee will be married. His first wife was Elaine Starchuck, and he later married Heather Locklear in 1986 and divorced in 1993. He had a highly publicized marriage with Playboy Playmate Pamela Anderson in 1995, resulting in two children, which came to an end in 1998. He was also briefly engaged to singer Sofia Toufa. Furlan, for the uninitiated, is a 31-year-old social media influencer who became famous on the now-defunct video clip hosting service Vine.

Up next for Lee is the long-awaited Motley Crue biopic The Dirt, based on the 2001 autobiography on the band, which is currently in pre-production. The drummer will be played by rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
