When it comes to thunderstorms, there is no denying the fury that nature can unleash. However, you also can't deny the beauty of them. Such as the case with this time-lapse video of the huge storm that moved through Stephenville, Texas recently.

Weather Nation captured this time-lapse video of a massive supercell moving through the town of Stephenville, Texas on April 26th, 2015. The storm was part of a system that moved across Texas producing hail, damaging winds, and several tornadoes.

You can see in the video (below) how the updraft along with the warm air work together to make the storm rotate, which in turn, not only makes the storms stronger, but also able to produce large hail, deadly lightening, and even tornadoes.

If you thought the last time-lapse of the #supercell moving through Hico was amazing, check out this one moving through Stephenville, Texas earlier today. The structure on this storm is amazing. www.WeatherNationTV.com ─ Video by: Mike Prendergast

Pretty cool, right? I've probably watched the video about 11 times now. Partly because I dig severe weather and am mesmerized by it, and partly because I'm lazy and don't feel like doing anything but watch videos at work today.

Hey, at least I'm honest.

Special thanks to Mike Prendergast via Weather Nation for the video.
