Thirty Seconds of Mars are ready to leave the "City of Angels" this summer for the "Edge of the Earth" … well, maybe not that far. But the band is heading off to nature this summer and inviting their fans to come with as they stage their first ever "Camp Mars."

The nature retreat will serve as the band's first ever Summer Camp Experience, taking place in Malibu, Calif., the weekend of Aug. 22-24. As the band states in the description for the teaser video above, "Calling all hippies, music lovers, naturalists, campers, Echelon and anyone who may have missed out on a childhood or wants to revisit one … Thirty Seconds to Mars announces a 3-Day Summer Camp experience."

"We have always looked to do things for our audience that are fun and unique," singer Jared Leto tells Rolling Stone. "What better way to celebrate the summer than in beautiful Southern California with the Mars family in full."

And there are a variety of options for those wanting to take part. You can go minimal, taking part in the $399 Deer Package that gives you essentially a day pass. Included in that package are activities like hiking, yoga, spiritual teaching, ghost stories, movie night, tug of war, a potato sack race, karaoke, meditation, swimming, arts and crafts, a campfire, a photo with the band, guest speakers and potentially coffee time with Shannon Leto and cooking with Tomo Milicevic. But the day ends with a Thirty Seconds to Mars performance and there will be no accommodations for day pass participants. There are two pricing levels for those taking part in the day events.

There are four different packages available for those who are looking to make a full weekend of it. The Red Hawk Package, which tops out at $1,999, includes a guaranteed stay in a semi private cabin, dorm style room or in one of the lodges. Food and beverages are also included and there will be theme nights to go along with the aforementioned camping activities. To see all of the available packages, click here. Sales for the upcoming "Camp Mars" begin this Friday, June 19 at 9AM PT.

After extensive touring for the Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams disc, Thirty Seconds to Mars are taking a breather. The band parted ways with Virgin Records last year and have yet to announce their next move.
