The Painman and Mike Skow Are Perfect for the Week in the Abilene Football Pick’em Challenge – Week 8

When you think of West Texas, football should be the first thing that comes to mind. Nothing is bigger than football, not even the belt buckle or mullet.

In every crowd of football fans is an ‘expert’. You know that person. The one who can’t stop talking about he or she has picked the winners each week or how they should be the coach. Well, we decided to gather a few of these ‘experts’ for a weekly pick’em challenge.

Mike Skow, of KTXS, seems to have been sand-baggin’ a bit. He started a little slow but has come on with some serious heat the past few weeks. He and I both had perfect scores this past week as we went 10-0. The boss lady is creeping back into the hunt with her 8-2 record and the Preach fell off his perch as he went 7-3.
