The Media Isn’t The Problem, The Media You’re Looking At Is

"Lamestream Media" isn't reporting on this!  Just that sentence lets me know that someone is about to unleash something unbearably stupid in my direction. I guess it's good that some people question what they're told, but then they turn right around and quote an even MORE ridiculous news source.

It's about LOGIC people.  No news source is going to ignore a news story that would get them viewers/readers/listeners. The bigger ones are also obsessive about credibility, so they're not going to purse a story that reeks of b.s, unless they're doing a story about HOW it reeks of b.s.  Brian Williams is a great example of how just a little exaggeration will get you tossed from a network.

I've heard a statement before saying "the devil's greatest trick was convincing the world he doesn't exist". Well, the fringe medias greatest trick was convincing the world the world that the real media doesn't tell the truth.  Sorry, but if NBC, ABC or CBS knew about a big "Jade Helm" type story, they'd be all over it because it would draw in viewers and in turn generate money.

The "alternative media's" reporting of Jade Helm is a great example of all of this.  These little crap-hole websites have little to nothing to lose in terms of credibility so they can just throw out insane rumors in hopes of short term financial gain. I probably axed two dozen people from my personal feed because I just don't want to deal with people dumb enough to believe that crap. You're welcome to get your news and believe whatever you want, but keep in mind that in most cases these small "news" websites are really just one person in a basement with a tiny bit of creativity and a political agenda of their own. They can afford to spread b.s. because the don't have much to lose.  The networks have too much money at stake to invent or ignore news.
