Where are all the awesome coming of age movies about one night or weekend and trying to lose your virginity or confess your love to that special someone before high school/summer/detention is over? Did 'American Pie' ruin everything? No! And the trailer for 'The First Time' just might prove it.

We're kind of into this trailer for 'The First Time' from writer/director Jon Kasdan (yes, brother of Jake, son of Lawrence), featuring a young cast of up-and-coming talents like Brittany Robertson, Dylan O'Brien, Craig Roberts, and Victoria Justice -- the latter of which can also be seen in the upcoming Halloween comedy, 'Fun Size.'

The story focuses on high school senior Dave and junior Aubrey, who meet one night by chance at a party and strike up a conversation. That conversation gives way to something a little more serious, charming, and definitely sweet -- and kind of funny, too, if this trailer indicates anything. 'The First Time' was an official selection at the Sundance film festival this year, which may or may not mean anything to you. If not, this trailer definitely promises to deliver on a special high school love story. You know, the kind that's been awfully rare over the last decade or so.
