I missed out on the last ‘Tabernacle Experience’ that came to my church earlier this year. It’s funny though, how sometimes when you say something like “wow, we should have gone, okay the next time it comes to town we are so there”. Guess what? The Tabernacle Experience is coming to Abilene from September the 8th through the 18th. More than 100,000 people across the United States have taken in this life-size, interactive Tabernacle of Moses. Now Abilene and the Big Country will get the chance to experience this awesome live event too.

This Tabernacle of Moses is fully interactive and has nine stations that lead visitors through an Old Testament journey. The Tabernacle Experience is a replica of Moses’ shrine carried by the Israelites across the Sinai Desert after they were freed from Egypt according to book of Exodus in the Bible. It’s like the Bible comes to life to give you a more real life like experience and feel. The Tabernacle Experience will be open to guests at Abilene Christian Schools.
