The 2nd Annual Women’s Night Out Was a Great Success and a Ton of Fun
We had a blast at Women's Night Out this past Friday night. Eric Stromer could not have been nicer and more fun. I hope you were there for the fun but if not I have a few photos to share with you of what you missed.
First off, when I interviewed Eric on Wednesday afternoon I new he was going to be a fun guest. He's very open, energetic, knowledgeable and ready to have a good time. He did not disappoint. He had the women in the palm of his hand. He walked around the room, taking photos with those who had their camera phones out. He sang a few songs, talked a bit about his family and how he got started in the carpentry business, even handing out bits of advice on DIY projects.
The women's style show by Wild One's Boutique was beautiful; I think many of us walked out with a little something new to wear this week. But, I have to say the men's style show presented by Bra-Te-Da had the women swooning. Our own Dave Wheaton tried to get in on the action. However, Dave is a good example of why 'men' aren't allowed to attend the show! It's also why we don't let him out in public very often.
The after party at Fat Boss's Pub was hopping with live music, Skinny Girl Cocktails, and even some dancing!
Thanks so much to all of our sponsors and to all of you who joined us for our Women's Night Out. I hope you all had as much fun as we did. If you have photo's of the nights event that you would like to share you can upload those to Instagram and use #WnoAbilene.
