The 20 Most Dangerous Cities in the State of Texas

Having just bought my first home, security is something I've been thinking about lately. As I began researching a few of these home security systems I ran across a list of the most dangerous cities in Texas. Some of these were a little surprising.

Home Security Shield recently released a report based on the FBI Uniform Crime Report (the statistics are from 2010, the most recent compiling of information) that listed the top 20 most dangerous cities in Texas. The information was based on cities with a population of 20,000+ and included both violent crimes as well as property crimes. What that means is there is no difference between assault on someone and having your purse stolen.
