Wouldn't it be better if I said: "Texas is about to piss away millions of dollars"?

Let's start with this. Do you remember when Texas said they'd fight for any county clerks out there that wouldn't issue marriage licenses, then didn't? That's what you're dealing with here. It's a bunch of big-mouth saber-rattling by a bunch of politicians looking to thumb their nose at President Obama.

Texas' own Attorney General admitted to the idiocy of all of this. When AG Paxton was asked if he knew of any examples of kids safety being jeopardy because of the Obama directive, his response was "there's not a lot of research."

Seriously? Texas is going to sue over something they have no example of being a problem?

Let's also add the fact that the Texas Attorney General helping to bring this lawsuit against the federal government is under indictment himself and has been charged with securities fraud. No wonder the U.S. government doesn't respond when Texas starts beating its chest; it's because we're driving up to their door in a clown car.

In America, we look out for the little guy (and gal). It's what our laws are based on. Texas will lose this fight and spend millions in the process. Texas also has $10 billion in education funding that it may lose because of the fight.

Right now, Texas isn't leading anything other than the stupid train to Ignorantville. It's time we turn that train around and start behaving like the great state we used to be.
