According to the report from KXAN, a husband and wife left a North Austin bar around 11 p.m. and decided they were too drunk to drive. Their 13-year-old daughter, who was with them, suggested she should drive them home, and they agreed.

The couple's other child, a 7-year-old boy, was with them as well. Instead of calling a cab, the report says the parents let their 13-year-old daughter drive them home.

Police eventually received a call that a silver Chevy pickup was going through stoplights and driving erratically.

The police affidavit says officers pulled the truck over on the interstate after seeing it weaving and nearly hitting other vehicles. The vehicle was also traveling 30 mph below the posted speed limit.

The 13-year-old girl allegedly told police that her parents were too drunk to drive. The mother told police they were "trying to do the right thing" and that the drive was a "little adventure" for the girl.

Apparently, the father also thought it was the right thing to do. He told police it was "smart" for them to let the child drive, even though she had no experience driving on the interstate.

The mother and father have each been charged with two counts of child endangerment, a state-jail felony, according to arrest warrants.

This house, built by Mark Lawson, has been referred to as the 'rock house,' the 'Flintstone house' and the 'lollipop house.' But whatever you call it, it's definitely even harder to describe.
