Rather than debut a TV spot or a new teaser, Warner Bros. has unleashed its first non-trailer promo for Suicide Squad via Instagram — you know, because that’s where all the cool kids are these days, and Suicide Squad is a movie for cool kids who take 800 selfies and have a Hot Topic frequent shopper card and an ironic appreciation of Jared Leto’s Joker sporting a grill. Does David Ayer’s super villain movie have a type? Not really, but it’s fun to guess.

If you didn't tune into DC's big Dawn of the Justice League special tonight on The CW, then you missed the official debut of the new trailer for Suicide Squad. Lucky for you, the trailer has arrived online and the Worst Heroes Ever have assembled, joining forces to take down a threat much worse than all their villainous powers combined.

Tonight, following the premiere of Legends of Tomorrow, The CW will air DC Films Presents: Dawn of The Justice League, which will promote Batman vs. Superman as the first film in the Justice League series while also offering up a first look at the official Suicide Squad trailer...

Back in June we learned that Joe Carnahan (The Grey) is interested in directing Bad Boys 3, and in August it was reported that Sony had officially put the long-awaited sequel on their release calendar for 2017 (along with a spot for Bad Boys 4 in 2019). Not much else has been reported about the third installment in the franchise, but Will Smith himself has officially confirmed that we’ll be seeing Bad Boys 3 very soon.

As of December 2012, thirty-three former NFL players have been formally diagnosed post-mortem with CTE. As the NFL continues to try to bury the issue (they recently denied permission to Seau’s daughter to speak in-person at her father’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony over fears she would publicize the CTE debate), a new film looks to tackle the issue head on and today we have our first look at Concussion.

This past weekend at Comic-Con, fans attending the Batman vs. Superman panel were treated to an additional surprise: the entire cast of Suicide Squad appeared on stage (minus Jared Leto) and introduced our first ever look at footage from the upcoming supervillain film. Despite their pleas to not record any of the footage, someone of course did, and it leaked online shortly thereafter in a really crappy quality. Well, director David Ayer and Warner Bros. feel your pain and have decided to do the right thing and just release the whole trailer online.

It’s been a decade since Will Smith was “Will Smith” onscreen. Sure, he’s made movies in the last ten years; science-fiction pictures, dramas, comedies. He even played Satan, once. But none of them riffed on that classic Will Smith persona that everyone loves; the infectious charm, the seductive smile, the cocky but casual swagger. (What’s that? Men in Black 3? No, they never made a third Men in Black. You must be confused.)

Alert, alert: Will Smith still has it. The star of the upcoming con man romantic comedy drama (co-ma rom-com-dram?) Focus hit The Late Show last night to chat it up with host David Letterman and, oh, yeah, to just randomly rap “Gettin Jiggy Wit It” alongside Letterman’s own band. Sure, most late night guests just walk out on stage, give a big hello, and sit down, but not Smith, who seemed determined to remind everyone of his rap roots.

Thank goodness for iPad apps. On last night's 'Tonight Show,' host Jimmy Fallon -- who grows more California by the minute, as the show has temporarily relocated to the West Coast -- and guest Will Smith decided to finally give the people what they want: rapping. Well, sort of.

Despite being one of the bigger hits of 2007, a sequel to 'I Am Legend' failed to materialize. Blame star Will Smith's unwillingness to do sequels or blame the film's rather definitive ending, which made a follow-up difficult. Seven years later, the franchise that wasn't is being rebooted and, no, Smith will not be involved.

Rumors of 'Bad Boys 3' have swirled for years -- the last we heard, it was looking for a writer, though there was no word if stars Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, and director Michael Bay would come back for another outing -- but it finally looks like things might be moving in the right direction. At least, if you think that Lawrence returning for more action is the right direction. (Hint: it is).
