A rare tornado recently ripped through North Dakota critically injuring a 15-year old girl and eight other people at a workers' camp. The twister was caught on video by a man named Dan Yorgason, which was uploaded to his YouTube account. Watch the terrifying twister bare down on the two as they try to take cover in a pickup. A huge tornado outbreak happened Sunday April 28th claiming several lives and leaving a path of destruction several miles long. Hardest hit was in Mayflower, Arkansas where a twister leveled houses to the foundation. A drone video of the damage path was uploaded by YouTube user Brian Emfinger, which you can now watch.

With tornado season is upon us, The Weather Channel is gearing up for it with 'Tornado Week', which kicks off April 28th. In fact, the new commercial just hit the web and it features a very familiar face - former Abilene weatherman, Damon Lane.

Oklahoma experienced another round of deadly tornadoes on Friday (May 31st) that has reportedly killed 9 so far, and injured hundreds. During one of the twisters, The Weather Channel's 'Tornado Hunt' vehicle was thrown almost 200 yards in the air by a tornado. Watch this insane video.

I don't think it's too much of a secret about my fascination with tornadoes. In fact, from the couple who wouldn't let a twister ruin their wedding, to the news crew who had to take cover during live coverage of one, I've posted several videos on tornadoes. So, when I saw this video of some storm chasers who got footage of a tornado from inside, I had to show you.

Several tornadoes slammed into North Texas Wednesday (May 15th) that left 6 dead and several people injured and homeless. Some of the reportedly 16 tornadoes that touched down across Texas were caught on tape.
