We didn’t think anything could make ‘Star Wars’ cooler. But then we saw this remix of the sci-fi classic featuring the music of AC/DC and instantly knew we were wrong.
What do you get when you put together disco, a few dozen yards of gold lamé, a troupe of ballet dancers and ‘Star Wars’ mania at its late ’70s peak?
The answer, as demonstrated by this mesmerizing four-minute “disco ballet” from a French TV show, is one of the most mind-bogglingly awesome insane ‘Star Wars’ tie-ins we’ve ever seen — and yes, that includes the infamous ‘Star Wars Holiday Special.’
If the name of Nike’s new ‘Tauntaun’ high-tops sounds only vaguely familiar it’s because you aren’t that big of a ‘Star Wars’ fan. The shoes are inspired by the famed creature that Luke Skywalker rides and Han Solo slices open at the beginning of ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’

Way back in 1999, ‘Star Wars: Episode I -The Phanton Menace’ reignited the ‘Star Wars’ franchise. Now, with a new trailer for the 3D version hitting the Web, ‘Wars’ mania is back in full swing. Ready to party with some Jedi like it’s 1999?
Darth Vader being revealed as Luke Skywalker’s father in ‘Empire Strikes Back’ is such a well-known plot twist, it doesn’t even require a “spoiler alert.”
However, that doesn’t mean that everybody knows that the ‘Star Wars’ rivals are father and son. Witness 4-year old Faris’ reaction to the famous plot twist, in the video below.

George Lucas is famous — or should we say infamous — for tinkering with the original ‘Star Wars‘ movie trilogy. For example, he’s “updated” them with CGI technology that was unavailable at the time they were originally shot, much to the dismay of movie purists the world over who felt they were perfect as-is.
But when the umpteenth re-release of the films, ‘Star Wars: The Complete Saga,’ comes out in Blu-ray on September 16, fans will get to see what Lucas didn’t include, such as this deleted scene between Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) from ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’
I'm sure on paper this looked like a "dream team". Put Star Wars together with Metallica and you have a "rockin' spectacular". Uh no, you have a giant flabby wiener of a production that sucks harder than a Dyson 360
An entire generation got "pants happy" when they first saw Princess Leia in a metal bikini. In an ironic twist, Carrie Fisher may have picked up some bad eating habits from Jabba the Hut. In steps Jenny Craig and maybe, just possibly, we'll get your Princess back.
