It’s been seven years since Skid Row have released any new music but all that is about to change come April 16 when the New Jersey rockers deliver their new disc ‘United World Rebellion – Chapter One.’ The EP serves as the first offering in a series that the band plans to roll out in the near future.
In announcing their 'An Evening With…' concerts, Halestorm promised that fans would get a chance to see different sides of the band. On Thursday night (Dec. 27) in Philadelphia, the band got a chance to prove it, incorporating cover songs from AC/DC, Judas Priest, Guns N' Roses, Skid Row and more into their set.
Sebastian Bach may still be known for his early days in Skid Row to some extent, but the singer has been a solo artist over the past decade and has had some time to reflect on both experiences.
Let’s face it, former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach has never had a problem saying what’s on his mind, especially when he thinks someone is putting words in his mouth. This is proven at length in his latest love letter to his old band and to one particular member of the press.
Talk about an all-star line up. Current and former members of Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Kiss, Alice in Chains, The Cult and more are coming together for Rock ‘N’ Roll Allstars, which is being dubbed a live show unlike anything else you’ve seen. That’s an understatement. The Allstars will tour South and Central America in both April and May of this year.
So, we already know that Sebastian Bach has ruled out any warm fuzzy reunions with his old bandmates in Skid Row, but what about the Brendan ‘Brush’ Shiels incarnation of Skid Row? In case you’re not familiar with Shiels, he’s the founding member of the 70’s Irish blues-rock band of the same moniker — the band that guitarist Gary Moore got his start with?
