Papa Roach are ending 2012 with a little video extravaganza. Earlier this month, fans got the 'Where Did the Angels Go' clip and now, getting in just under the 2012 deadline, there's a new video for 'Before I Die.'
Papa Roach are happily back on the road after several stops and starts this year while vocalist Jacoby Shaddix was determining whether vocal surgery would be necessary. The rocker caught up with the Armed Forces Network (check out the audio below) while in Germany and spoke with Army Sergeant Russell Toof about his recovery from the vocal surgery and other topics.
There's a pretty powerful one-two punch coming to audiences across the United States early next year as Stone Sour and Papa Roach will team up for a co-headlining tour. The trek launches Jan. 20 in Bethlehem, Pa., with Stone Sour closing out the shows.
The world is keeping a close eye on the East Coast today as Hurricane Sandy's destruction has wreaked havoc with its high winds, torrential rain, and potential for even more trouble as the storm heads inland. Many across the nation are sending their positive thoughts to those dealing with the storm and its aftermath, including a number of rockers.
Papa Roach may not have been able to cut their summer and fall tour plans short, but the band is ready to bring you a special show this afternoon (Oct. 23), and you can watch it live. The group has teamed with YouTube for a live performance and question and answer session and you can watch it in the video below. It'll mark the band's first performance since singer Jacoby Shaddix underwent vocal surgery several weeks ago.
With their new disc ‘The Connection’ now out on shelves and fiery frontman Jacoby Shaddix on the mend after recent vocal surgery that forced the band to drop off of this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, Papa Roach are officially back! But wait, that's not all - the band recently announced that they will be participating in an upcoming episode of ‘YouTube Presents' later this month as a special thanks to their supportive fanbase.
The road to the release of Papa Roach’s new disc ‘The Connection’ (out Oct. 2) has not always been a smooth one, but that’s part of what powers the strength that it delivers. Written during a tumultuous time during lead vocalist Jacoby Shaddix’s life, the disc portrays a dark time for the band played out song by song. Kicking it off is the face-punching lead-off single ‘Still Swingin’ which is merely the prelude to the darkness that lies within.
Papa Roach have a lot of fans out there, and they may have taken the first step to winning over one more. In a special feature for a recent interview, Wye Oak's Jenn Wanser chose Papa Roach's 'Scars' as her most hated song, but did have a few reservations about doing so. Rather than a war of words erupting between the pair, Wasner was surprised to receive flowers from Jacoby Shaddix.
Today marks a day of reflection for many as we remember the tragic 9/11 attacks in New York, Washington, D.C. and Shanksville, Pa. Amidst terrorism, there were also great acts of heroism with many sacrificing their lives to protect others.
