Zooey Deschanel, star of the Fox sitcom ‘New Girl,’ showed off her musical side when she sang the national anthem before Game 4 of the World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers.

Turns out Christina Aguilera isn’t the only one who has trouble remembering the lyrics to ‘The Star Spangled Banner.’

During a 9/11 tribute at the US Open on Sunday, 58-year-old pop icon Cyndi Lauper suffered a similar fate, flubbing the line that’s supposed go “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming” by instead singing “O’er the ramparts we watched, as our flag was still streaming.”
