Earlier this week, Bottle Rock 2013 revealed a handful of acts to look forward to at this year’s festival, set to take place from May 10-12 in Napa Valley, Calif. The full lineup for the three-day event has since been announced, and big additions include Kings of Leon and Dirty Projectors.
Optimus Alive! 2013 is set to take place on the scenic Alges riverside in Oeiras, Portugal, from July 12-14. Featured acts for the highly anticipated music festival include Kings of Leon, Depeche Mode and Two Door Cinema Club, along with the recent additions of Green Day and Biffy Clyro.
The lineup for the third annual Governors Ball – a music festival held in Randall’s Island, N.Y. – has just been announced. The event is scheduled to take place from June 7-9 and feature more than 60 acts from a variety of genres, including indie rock, hip-hop, pop, dance and electronica.
The Kings of Leon extended family keeps on expanding. Drummer Nathan Followill and wife Jessie Baylin welcomed a daughter, Violet Marlowe Followill, as a belated Christmas present. Little Violet was born in Nashville on Dec. 26.

Less than a month after Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill’s wife, model Lily Aldridge, gave birth to the couple’s first child, Aldridge has tweeted the first public photo of their precious Dixie Pearl. The Twitter picture of their daughter, who was born on June 21 in Nashville, displays her tiny feet wearing bunny-themed booties accompanied by a note that read “Sweet feet” with a smiley face at the end.
Following last week’s announcement that Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill and wife/model Lily Aldridge welcomed their first child, daughter Dixie Pearl, into the world, drummer Nathan Followill announced via Twitter that he and wife, singer-songwriter Jessie Baylin, are expecting their first child this December.
