August 9, 2012 In This Moment is a California band that's been around since 2005. They've experienced a moderate amount of success with songs like 'Beautiful Tragedy', 'Forever', and 'Call Me' (Blondie cover). Then came 'The Promise', a song that Maria Brink (singer) sang with Adrian Patrick of Otherwise. That song was really the one that made In This Moment a recognizable name across the rock format.
Then, all of the sudden, the song 'Blood' hit radio and everything changed. This is one of those songs that vaults a band into the upper echelon of bands. It's intense, passionate, energetic and pure. You'd never think it would be translated acoustically...but In This Moment did it and hit a home run with the acoustic version (like they did the original.
A week before its Aug. 14 release date, a full stream of the new In This Moment album ‘Blood’ is now available. The stream is free until Aug. 14 for those with an XBox Live subscription. The single ‘Blood,’ for which Loudwire premiered the video, has been out for a few weeks, and now fans can hear the rest of the band’s fourth album.

In This Moment‘s Maria Brink will give it her best, but the singer is suffering a good amount of back pain at the moment and may require surgery.
In This Moment’s fourth studio album, ‘Blood,’ drops on Aug. 14, and the band are opening up about the creative process for the release. Speaking with Bare Bones Music, frontwoman Maria Brink explained that this past year has brought plenty of trials for the band, including a lineup change, but that has only served to make In This Moment stand taller.
In This Moment’s highly anticipated fourth studio album ‘Blood’ isn’t due out until Aug. 14, but the band is set to premiere the video for the title track right here on Loudwire on July 9. In the meantime, they’re offering a sneak peek of the clip starting today (June 26).
