Microsoft recently acquired a big video game company.

After a four year hiatus, Activision has brought the band back together in Guitar Hero Live, which will feature live crowds, real band members, music videos, a new guitar and more.

Activision is likely bringing back Guitar Hero, as press outlets around the world have started receiving passes to a fictional rock festival called SoundDial.

While all you living room musicians out there are jonesing for more Rock Band info, Guitar Hero could be restringing for a new gig on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It looks like Activision is restringing the Gibson and Rickenbacker for Guitar Hero's first major console release in five years.

Don't call it a come back, but you might be able to rock out in your living room once again as Guitar Hero is rumored to be making a return.

Axl Rose‘s ongoing quest to wrest a $20 million judgment from video game makers Activision was dealt a setback yesterday (August 14), when a judge indicated Rose’s allegations of fraud would be dismissed — but he allowed another claim in the suit to stand, leaving the legal battle open for another round.
