The Fourth of July is just around the corner as firework stands are up and running, plans are being made for family and friends to get together and event organizers everywhere are planning for their annual fireworks display, all to celebrate our independence
Fourth of July, although the most popular, is not the only holiday where fireworks are used. New Year's Eve is also a major day for fireworks displays. The same rules apply and so it is time to review all those safety tips once again. You don't want to ring in a new year on a bad note.
Another 4th of July has come and gone and what we are left with are the memories of the day and hopefully some great pictures of the fireworks. Whether it was a professionally produced fireworks show or just a small sparkler display with your kid in the backyard, we'd like to see your pictures and share them with everyone else.
Police in New York confiscated some 5,000 POUNDS of illegal fireworks. That's a crapload of boomsticks and whistlin' snizzers. Usually when cops catch some illegal stuff they have to burn the evidence. And that's what they did this time too. What happens when you put fireworks in a giant fire? Awesome happens, that's what. Dig this.
So yeah I understand that there's a crapload of fires everywhere in Texas. And would never be one to put firefighters in more jeopardy than they already are. But this is Independence Day dammit! And I want some fireworks. So here's me, with the aid of a midget friend, not one of my daughters CPS, and some sparklers. Enjoy!
Simple enough. With the drought and extreme wildfire conditions going on in our state I figured it would be nice to show you where they have banned fireworks from being set off. In pretty much all of these counties they have also cancelled any city fireworks displays too so you might as well avoid them all-together if you're looking for a show
Forget about the dawn's early light, this Fourth of July is all about the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air and maybe even a couple of spiders. Those are the ones that, well, look kind of like a spider, anyway.
