Super Smash Bros. Roster Might Include Male Wii Fit Trainer

The female Wii Fit Trainer might be getting some backup in Super Smash Bros., if a new screenshot featuring the male Wii Fit Trainer is any indication.

A screenshot posted to the official Super Smash Bros. website shows both Wii Fit Trainers in the middle of the air, probably comparing yoga poses. The image was taken by Masahiro Sakurai, the game's director, and was also posted to the Miiverse.

According to Sakurai himself, the image is to help commemorate the trial version of Wii Fit U being made available. Whether or not the male Wii Fit Trainer will actually take up another slot as a playable character or if he exists as an alternate costume for the female Wii Fit Trainer is yet unknown. But we'll keep you updated as more information is made available.
