Capcom's favorite 8-bit ninja is back now that Strider has officially been released.

The magnetic boots, 'Cypher' the plasma sword and the wall-climbing scythe are all back now that Strider Hiryu has officially returned. Only this time, Strider isn't stuck in another Capcom franchise crossover, but has returned to the format that got him acclaim back in the late 80s (no, not that Acclaim). That's right, Strider has returned to the side-scrolling format that he helped revolutionize and is ready to slice and dice through both bounty hunter and cyborg alike.

Strider is currently available on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 and PS4 and on Xbox Live for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The PC version of Strider will be available as of Feb. 19. All digital versions of Strider are set at the price of $14.99.
