Machinima has released Joey Ansah's amazing tribute to Capcom's flagship series, 'Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist.'

Action buffs may recognize Joey Ansah as the bad guy Matt Damon choked out in a dilapidated bathroom in 'The Bourne Ultimatum,' but we think we're going to always remember him from now on as the co-writer and director of the jaw-dropping series, 'Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist.' Sure, when it comes to movies and TV shows, 'Street Fighter' was so bad that it's almost considered enjoyable (along with its follow-up cartoon which starred Guile, Chun-Li and Blanka). But this re-telling of Ryu and Ken's histories is, in our opinion, the greatest live-action project to be based off a video game.

Ansah admits that in order to co-write the story for the series with Christian Howard (who plays Ken Masters), they stuck directly to the canon that was established within the games themselves along with the anime films that were approved by Capcom. Two of these are our favorites: Manga Entertainment's 'Street Fighter: The Animated Movie' and 'Street Fighter Alpha.' 'Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist' stars Mike Moh as Ryu, Akira Koeiyama as Goken, Gaku Space as Goki, Mark Killeen as Mr. Masters, Togo Igawa as Gotetsu and Joey Ansah himself as the murderous Akuma. We highly suggest taking the few hours needed to watch this absolutely groundbreaking series.
