The buzz around Stone Sour's forthcoming Hydrograd album is certainly electric and things have been given an extra jolt to the chest as the band just scored their fourth No. 1 Active Rock hit with "Song #3."

This marks the fourth time Stone Sour have topped the Active Rock song charts and it is also their eighth entry into the Top 5 for singles. When we spoke to frontman Corey Taylor about the song's meaning, he said it's "about a certain kind of love that I don’t think songwriters really talk about. It’s that strong passionate love but also that undying love. That really, really good s–t, you know?”

The news comes just after Nickelback's Chad Kroeger slammed Corey Taylor alongside both Stone Sour and Slipknot. After praising his own band's diversity and calling Stone Sour "Nickelback lite," the Kroeger noted how Taylor has stated in the past that it is easy to write a hit song, adding, "Well, show me. Show me. Write one. I have yet to hear one."

Stone Sour's Hydrograd will be released on June 30 and pre-orders are available now at the band's website and in addition to "Song #3," fans can check out "Fabuless," "Mercy" and "Taipei Person/Allah Tea" You can also catch the group on the road now as they're currently supporting Korn on a summer tour (dates here).
