Ya know, I can actually recall the time MTV was born and all they played were music videos. There weren't any spring breaks, pregnant teens or drunk guidos. MTV served up 24 hours of music videos with music news splashed in from time to time.

Well, as we all know, that time is long in our history...but thankfully we have Youtube (and other online video services) to keep music videos alive and relevant.

So, as the year ends, I'd like to offer up my Top 4 favorite videos from the year of 2012.

I'm not going to 'rank' these as they all have their priorities in my musical journey.

Enjoy.

Stone Sour 'Absolute Zero' from the album "House of Gold and Bones, Pt. 1"

All That Remains 'Stand Up (Stand Up)' from the album "A War You Can Not Win"

Slash (featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators) 'Standing in the Sun' from the album "Apocalyptic Love"

Deftones 'Tempest' from the album "Koi No Yokan"

The Deftones song wasn't actually a video, per se, but it is definitely one of the best (if not best) songs of the year...so it had to be added.
