If you’re going to fight a Rebellion, you better have some rebellious soldiers. That’s why Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) is the key to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, this winter’s big Star Wars standalone film, supposedly the first in an ever-expanding cinematic universe of spinoffs from the main movie saga (that continues next December with the still-untitled Episode VIII).

This brand new Rogue One TV spot includes of nice new moments including the one at the end that shows Jyn, Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), and their droid buddy K-2SO (Alan Tudyk) all disguised in Imperial garb as part of their scheme to steal the plans for the Empire’s latest super weapon. Perhaps you’ve heard of it, it’s just a little thing called the Death Star. (This is the original Death Star, not the second Death Star or the recent Starkiller Base which was basically just Death Star 3.0 from Star Wars: The Force AwakensThe Empire loves their Death Stars.)

Jyn Erso, a Rebellion soldier and criminal, is about to experience her biggest challenge yet when Mon Mothma sets her out on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star. With help from the Rebels, a master swordsman, and non-allied forces, Jyn will be in for something bigger than she thinks.
