Sons of Texas made their mark with their debut album Baptized in the Rio Grande back in 2015, and after two years of touring they are determined to keep the momentum going. Breaking long enough to re-enter the studio, the band has a new album coming this fall.

The disc is titled Forged by Fortitude and it's on track for a Sept. 22 street date via Razor & Tie. The band worked closely on the disc with producer Josh Wilbur and have come out with another rocking collection.

Fans can get a taste of the band's new album with the brand new song "Feed the Need." After some nimble bass picking to start the song, it turns into one driving monster of a rock track led by Mark Morales' commanding, in-your-face vocal. You can watch a lyric video for the song in the player above.

Sons of Texas have made their new album available for pre-order. You can pick up Forged by Fortitude digitally via iTunes or in physical bundle packages via the band's Merch Now site. Among the items you can add on to your order include exclusive t-shirts and hoodies, a flask, a dog tag bottle opener and a knit cap. You can also have the option to add a limited 7" vinyl single featuring "Beneath the Riverbed" with a b-side cover of Social Distortion's "Ball and Chain." Those who pre-order the new album will also be entitled to "Feed the Need" as an instant grat track.

The band currently has no tour dates listed, but stay tuned as they will soon have shows booked to support the album well into 2018.
