Slipknot are now a week away from hosting their inaugural Knotfest in both Iowa and on the Minnesota/Wisconsin border, and they’re giving fans close enough another reason to attend and those who can’t make it a tease as to what they’ll get with the pay-per-view webcast.

The band recently teamed up with Todocast and Event View Live to offer the Somerset, Wis. show online as a pay-per-view event, but fans who partake in the experience will get more than just the show as bonus video content and interviews will be part of the special.

In anticipation of the event, the band has released an eight-minute trailer titled ‘Road to Knotfest – Ritual No. 1′ that gives you a glimpse of what you’ll get for subscribing to the event.

In the video, singer Corey Taylor states, “The audience will probably never get a chance to see how much I appreciate them because I wear this mask, but that’s what I would want them to know is that they get me through every show. They are literally the reason to do this.”

In addition to Taylor, you get insights from drummer Joey Jordison, percussionists Shawn “Clown” Crahan and Chris Fehn, and guitarist Mick Thomson among others. You can check out the video below.

Those who get the package will be able to watch the concert in real time, while also having the ability to pause, rewind and re-watch the show at their convenience over the next 30 days. Visit Event View Live here for the pay-per-view details.
