Slash is making the most of his time with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, as the band members are using some end-of-the-year downtime to get a jump on their next album.

The guitar great has been keeping fans up to date on their recording sessions, having recently stated in a series of tweets that things were coming together quickly and that they were working on what he expected to be "a really heavy" record. Slash also posted a few Vine videos to give fans a glimpse inside the studio.

In his latest update, Slash reveals that the band now has a wealth of material completed and will have a difficult time narrowing down what will actually go on their upcoming disc. His latest tweet can be seen below.

After a big 2012 in support of 'Apocalyptic Love,' Slash and Kennedy spent most of their time apart in 2013. Kennedy returned to front Alter Bridge for the band's 'Fortress' album while Slash turned his attention to creating music for the film 'Nothing Left to Fear.'

Although Slash and co. are obviously on the ball with crafting their new album, an official release date has yet to be teased.
