It's been a long time coming, but PlayStation 3 players will finally get to play all of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim downloadable content that had only been available on the Xbox 360.

A post on the Bethesda Blog proclaims the good gaming news and says that the Dragonborn, Dawnguard, and Hearthfire DLCs, as well as the 1.8 title update, have been cleared with SCEA.

The North American release dates for the Skyrim DLC packs are as follows:

  • Dragonborn - Tuesday, February 12th, 2013.
  • Hearthfire - Tuesday, February 19th, 2013.
  • Dawnguard - Tuesday, February 26th, 2013.

All of these packs will be available for half off during the first week of their release, so PlayStation players would do well to snatch them up as soon as they are available. They're not being released in the same order their Xbox 360 counterparts, but at least they're finally coming to the PS3.

Let us know if you still have your copy of Skyrim and are ready to play all of the new add-on content. Or, if you don't have a copy, if the promise of more content is enough to get you to buy the game.
